El passat mes de juliol la Maria Xia i la Paula van tenir la oportunitat de participar a una formació internacional a León, organitzada per l’entitat Asociación Auryn. La formació “No hate 2.0” anava sobre com combatre els discursos d’odi i identificar les fake news. Ens ho expliquen així:
“A principis de juliol vam tenir l’oportunitat de participar en el training “NO HATE 2.0” que va tenir lloc a León, juntament amb participants de Portugal, Itàlia i França. Durant aquella setmana vam aprendre sobre la Piràmide de l’Odi, per tal de poder identificar-lo en la nostra vida quotidiana, així com la discriminació que actualment pateix una gran part de la població. Però sobretot, es va fer especial esment sobre la importància de les ‘Fake News’ i com habitualment no sabem si la informació que llegim és verídica o no.
D’una banda, amb tots aquests coneixements adquirits durant la formació tenim una visió més crítica envers el que circula per les xarxes. I, d’altra banda, també vam conèixer la ciutat i vam crear vincles amb els participants d’altres nacionalitats.
En definitiva, ha estat una experiència gratificant i profitosa.”
Last July, Maria Xia and Paula had the opportunity to participate in an international training in León, organized by Asociación Auryn. The “No hate 2.0” training was about how to combat hate speech and identify fake news. They explain it like this:
“At the beginning of July we had the opportunity to participate in the “NO HATE 2.0” training that took place in León, together with participants from Portugal, Italy and France. During that week we learned about the Pyramid of Hate, in order to be able to identify it in our daily lives, as well as the discrimination that a large part of the population currently suffers. But above all, special mention was made of the importance of ‘Fake News’ and how we usually don’t know if the information we read is true or not.
On the one hand, with all this knowledge acquired during training, we have a more critical view of what circulates on the networks. And, on the other hand, we also got to know the city and created bonds with the participants of other nationalities.
All in all, it has been a rewarding and rewarding experience.”
