Del 21 al 26 del passat mes de novembre, vam celebrar a Terrassa “ConnESCtion”, un seminari de contacte sota el marc del programa europeu Erasmus+. L’objectiu del projecte era reunir treballadores juvenils que treballen dia a dia coordinant projectes de voluntariat del Cos Europeu de Solidaritat (CES) amb el propòsit d’enfortir connexions i crear una xarxa sòlida i actualitzada d’organitzacions compromeses amb la promoció, coordinació, acollida i enviament de voluntaris internacionals.

El projecte ha reunit a 28 participants de fins a 17 països europeus diferents, totes elles coordinadores, mentores i treballadores que es dediquen al CES. Durant la setmana, han estat involucrades en diferents activitats amb les quals s’han creat espais per compartir, escoltar i intercanviar experiències i bones pràctiques. 

Les 5 grans temàtiques que han liderat la setmana han sigut: el paper de l’entitat d’enviament en la preparació i tornada de les voluntàries, la integració, la inclusió, el suport i el benestar d’aquestes mateixes i l’autocura i aprendre posar límits per part de les treballadores juvenils involucrades.

Durant el projecte, s’han pogut crear diferents sinergies, connexions i enllaços, amb l’objectiu també d’acabar creant una gran xarxa entre entitats que es dediquen al Cos Europeu de Solidaritat, per poder comptar entre elles amb socis de qualitat amb els que poder confiar a l’hora d’enviar o rebre voluntaris. 

Gràcies a la feina d’aquests dies, s’ha creat un booklet de bones pràctiques com a resultat del projecte, que servirà a tota la xarxa creada durant el seminari per a millorar el dia a dia dels projectes CES.

From the 21st to the 26th of last November, we celebrated in Terrassa “ConnESCtion”, a contact seminar under the framework of the European program Erasmus+. The aim of the project was to bring together youth workers who work day-to-day coordinating voluntary projects of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) with the purpose of strengthening connections and creating a solid and up-to-date network of organizations committed to the promotion, coordination, reception and sending of international volunteers.

The project has brought together 28 participants from up to 17 different European countries, all of them coordinators, mentors and workers dedicated to ESC. During the week, they have been involved in different activities with which spaces have been created to share, listen and exchange experiences and good practices.

The 5 major topics that have led the week have been: the role of the sending organization in the preparation and return of the volunteers, integration, inclusion, support and well-being of these same and self-care and learn to set limits on the part of the youth workers involved.

During the project, it was possible to create different synergies, connections and links, with the aim also to end up creating a large network between entities that are dedicated to the European Solidarity Corps, to be able to count among them with quality partners with the to be able to trust when sending or receiving volunteers.

Thanks to the work of these days, a booklet of good practices has been created as a result of the project, which will serve the entire network created during the seminar to improve the day-to-day work of ESC projects.
