Hola Hola a tothom,

El meu nom és Giulia, tinc 25 anys i vinc d’un petit poble d’Itàlia 🇮🇹.

L’any passat, al novembre, em vaig graduar a la universitat i em vaig trobar sense plans per al futur. Vaig començar a pensar en la possibilitat de traslladar-me a Espanya per treballar i millorar el meu espanyol, i després vaig escoltar sobre el projecte ESC i vaig decidir provar-ho.

Vaig sol·licitar diferents projectes i vaig triar la Víbria perquè em semblava el més adequat per a mi.

Fa aproximadament un mes vaig començar el meu projecte ESC a Mataró.

Mataró és una ciutat bonica, però encara necessito temps per explorar-la bé. M’encanta el fet que vivim a prop del mar, així que tinc l’oportunitat d’anar a la platja a fer una passejada quan vull i estic desitjant que arribi l’estiu! De moment em costa una mica fer noves amistats, però sortosament m’entenc molt bé amb les meves companyes de pis, em sento afortunada!

El meu voluntariat és a Can Gual, un lloc on viuen joves ex-tutelats d’entre 18 i 22 anys, i té l’objectiu de formar-los i acompanyar-los en un procés d’autonomia que els condueixi cap a l’emancipació.

Can Gual és realment bonic; una casa al mig de la natura, des d’allà es pot veure el mar i cada dia ets rebut per cabres, gallines, gats i el gos.

Vam arribar just a temps per veure 5 cabretes acabades de néixer, va ser un moment molt emocionant!

No tenia experiència prèvia en aquest camp i moltes coses eren noves per a mi al principi, però ara que conec més els nois, sento que estem creant un bon vincle. Bàsicament, nosaltres com a voluntaris els ajudem amb tasques diàries: ens ocupem dels animals, netegem el seu cobert, els ajudem amb la cuina, la neteja i amb el manteniment.

Em sento molt afortunada de treballar amb l’Elisavet, crec que tenim el balanç perfecte i estem desitjant començar noves activitats aviat perquè els nois semblen oberts a fer-les!

Crec que el meu espanyol està millorant lentament i ajuda que el nostre tutor i tots els nois només parlin espanyol. La part bona d’aquest treball és que ens podem entendre i passar-ho bé sense necessitat de parlar gaire.

Hello hello everybody,

My name is Giulia, I’m 25 years old and I come from a small village in Italy 🇮🇹.

Last November I graduated at University and I found myself with no plans for the future. I started thinking about moving to Spain to work and improve my Spanish and than I heard about ESC project and I gave it a shot.

I applied for different projects and chose la Víbria as it seemed to be the most suitable for me. 

I started my ESC project in Matarò approximately one month ago.

Matarò it’s a nice city but I still need sometime to explore it properly. I love the fact that we live by the sea so I have the chance to go whenever I want to the beach for a walk and I can wait for the summer season! At the moment I find kinda hard making new friendships but luckily I get on really well with my flatmates, I feel blessed! 

My volunteering is in Can Gual, a place where ex-tutored young people between 18 and 22 years old live and has the aim of training and accompanying them in a process of autonomy that leads them towards emancipation. 

Can Gual it’s really nice; an house in the middle of the nature, from there you can see the sea and everyday you’re welcomed by goats, chickens, cats and the dog. 

We arrived just in time to see 5 new born goats, it was such an emotional moment!

I had no previous experience in this fiel and a lot of things were new to me at the beginning but now that I’m knowing more about the guys I feel like we’re creating a good bond. Basiclly we as volunteers we help them with daily tasks: we take care of the animals, we clean their barn, we help them with the cooking, the cleaning and with the maintenance.

I feel really lucky to work with Elisavet, I think we have the right balance and we can’t wait to start new activities soon because the guys looks open to it!

I think my Spanish is slowly improving and it helps that our tutor and all the guys only speak Spanish. The great thing about this job is that you can understand each other and have fun without speaking too many words.
