Hola hola, ¿qué tal?

Por aquí todo bien.
Finalmente, Mataró empieza a parecerse a un hogar. Aunque mudarme aquí no fue un gran choque cultural porque, en efecto, los españoles y los italianos se parecen un poco, no fue fácil crear una rutina y todavía es difícil crear vínculos, pero me siento bien, estoy feliz.
Hago mis paseos de compras, tengo el bar de confianza para los aperitivos y la panadería para los pequeños caprichos.

También hemos empezado a hacer los primeros viajes. Estuvimos en Girona, una ciudad realmente hermosa, con un ambiente impecable.
La temporada de verano por fin ha comenzado, así que puedo disfrutar de la playa. Es un sueño vivir tan cerca del mar y hemos empezado a visitar las ciudades costeras cercanas.
En marzo fuimos a la formación de llegada y fue una gran experiencia conocer a otros voluntarios y ver qué otros proyectos ofrece el CES. Fue bonito ver cómo compartimos valores e intereses similares.

El voluntariado continúa con tranquilidad. Elisavet y yo hemos devuelto la vida al huerto de Can Gual y plantamos un poco de todo: tomates, pimientos, fresas, menta, etc. Tengo que decir que fue cansado, pero cuidar y ver el cambio es realmente bonito.
También estamos ayudando con varios trabajos de mantenimiento y repintando un poco todo.
Las cabras siguen creciendo y también tenemos tres gatitos recién nacidos.
Con los chicos todo va bien, aunque algunos días son un poco más difíciles; como para todos, hay días buenos y otros no tanto.

Incluso en el voluntariado a veces es un poco difícil encontrar tu lugar, pero espero que en los próximos meses, también gracias a la orientación de los educadores, podamos proponer algunas actividades interesantes.

No puedo decir si mi español está mejorando, pero por otro lado estoy empezando a aprender un poco de catalán, marroquí y griego.

Everything’s fine here.
Finally Mataró begins to look like home. Although moving here was not a big cultural shock because indeed Spanish and Italians look a bit alike, it was not easy to create a routine and it is still difficult to create bonds but I feel good, I am happy.
I do my shopping tours, I have the trusted bar for the aperitifs and the bakery for little treats.

We also started to make the first trips. We were in Girona, a really beautiful city, immaculate vibe.
The summer season has finally started so I can enjoy the beach, it’s a dream to live so close to the sea and we started to visit the cities on the coast near us.
In march we went to the arrival training and it was a great experience to meet other volunteers and see what other projects ESC offers. It was nice to see how we share similar values ​​and interests.

Volunteering is continuing quietly, Elisavet and I have given life back to the Can Gual garden and planted a little bit of everything: tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, mint, etc. I have to say it was tiring but taking care and seeing the change is really nice.
We are also helping with various maintenance work and repainting everything a little.
The goats continue to grow and we have 3 new born cats too.
With the boys he pursues everything well even if some days it is a little more difficult, as for everyone there are good days and less days.

Even in volunteering it is sometimes a bit difficult to find your place but I hope in the coming months, also thanks to the guidance of the educators, we’ll be able to propose some interesting activities.

I can’t tell if my Spanish is improving but on the other hand I’m starting to learn a little Catalan, Moroccan and Greek.
