¡Ha llegado el momento de la evaluación intermedia!
La evaluación intermedia es parte del Servicio de Voluntariado Europeo que permite a todos los voluntarios que están en España haciendo un proyecto de larga duración que se reúnan para reflexionar sobre sus proyectos y tareas como voluntarios, sobre lo que han hecho hasta el momento y sobre lo que se podría mejorar. Florine, Daniel y yo fuimos a Mollina para hacerlo, un pequeño pueblo cerca de Málaga, en Andalucía.
El pueblo era muy bonito y el ambiente que nos rodeaba era muy tranquilo y bastante multicultural. En el marco de la formación, éramos 85 jóvenes y cerca de 10 formadores del SVE. Fue muy interesante conocer a jóvenes de todas partes de Europa y, a su vez, representantes de diferentes regiones de España. Como yo vivo en Cataluña, durante los 6 meses que llevo aquí, he podido conocer las tradiciones, la manera de vivir, las normas y los valores de los catalanes. Pero escuchando historias y experiencias que los voluntarios de otras partes de España están viviendo, me hizo dar cuenta de lo único y culturalmente diverso que es este país. ¡Aún me he enamorado más de España!
Además, una de las cosas más increíbles para mí de ir a Mollina fue que iba a encontrarme con mi mejor amiga de Georgia, Salome, que hace su SVE en Castilla y León. Luego, una vez allí, descubrimos que había otra participante de Georgia que está haciendo su SVE en Málaga. Fue un encuentro muy poco casual para nosotras el hecho de ser tres georgianas juntas, viviendo en 3 comunidades autónomas diferentes, ¡nos lo pasamos genial!
La formación fue muy interactiva y bastante variada. El segundo día, nos pidieron que nos agrupáramos según las comunidades autónomas de las que veníamos para representar aspectos culturales de cada una de ellas. Hicimos una representación sobre Cataluña usando lazos amarillos, consignas de manifestaciones y el caga tió, que cagó un decreto de independencia para nosotros J ¡Fue muy divertido!
¡El día antes de irnos pudimos visitar Málaga! Andalucía me gustó mucho y me hizo muy feliz haber tenido la oportunidad de ir. Por desgracia, solo pudimos estar 4 días y pronto nos volvimos a Terrassa, ¡aunque con un montón de recuerdos, conocimientos y nuevos amigos de todas partes de Europa que viven en España!

Time came for the mid-term evaluation training course!
This training course is part of the European voluntary service program which enables every long term volunteer living in Spain in frames of EVS program to gather together and reflect on their work as an EVS volunteer, about what they have done so far and what is needed still to be improved. Florine, Daniel and me went to Mollina to small city near Malaga, Andalucía.
The town was really nice and the environment we were staying was really peaceful and quite multicultural. In frames of the training course we were 85 youngsters and around 10 mentors of the European voluntary service. It was very interesting for me meeting young people coming from all around Europe and at the same time representatives of different regions of Spain. As I am living in Catalonia, during my 6 months of staying here, I got to know traditions, way of living, norms and values of Catalan people but hearing stories and experiences volunteers are having from different part of Spain, made me realize how unique and culturally diverse the country is itself. I fell in love with Spain even more!
Besides, one of the most fascinating facts for me about going to Mollina was that I would meet the best friend of mine from Georgia Salome, who is doing her EVS in Castilla y Leon. Later we found out that there was another Georgian participant who was doing her EVS in Malaga, Andalucia. It was very random occasion for us to be three Georgian together, coming from 3 different regions of Spain, we really enjoyed our time!
The training course was really interactive and quite diverse. On the second day, they asked us to group ourselves according the regions in order to represent cultural aspects of them. We made performance about Catalonia, by using yellow ribbons, demonstration phrases and caga tio, who pooped independence treaty for us 😀 it was really funny!
Day before our departure, we visited Malaga as well! I liked a lot Andalucía and I was happy that I was given an opportunity to go there! Unfortunately we only stayed there for 4 days and soon we headed back to Terrassa but with a lot of memories, knowledge and new friends from all around Europe who are living in Spain!
